Japan Turn One Recommendations

Purchase two transports/3 infantry.

Your turn one moves will greatly depend on what Russia and the UK have done on their turns.

The main thing to remember is you should not attack Pearl Harbor. It may look attractive and certainly the odds are favorable, but it distracts you from the main objective, getting troops into Asia.

In order of importance, attempt to:

Take back Manchuria if the Russians have taken it (this allows you to use your battleship bombards).

Take back Fr. Indo-China, if the UK has taken it (this allows you to use your battleship bombards).

Take SFE and Yakut from the Russians (remember, maximum pressure on the Russians).

Take China from the US.

Take India from the UK.

Kill the Indian transport.

Keep your Philippine transport within a range of 2 spaces from Japan, so that it can get back to Japan to bridge 2 infantry on your second turn.
